📝HB2683 - Businesses; requirement to accept cash

A retail business with a physical location in Arizona is required to accept cash as a form of payment for goods and services with an aggregate value of $100 or less and cannot charge a fee or penalty for using cash as a form of payment.

Establishes penalties for violations. Does not apply to the online sale of goods or services or a written contract between two parties that dictates the acceptable form of payment.

The Chandler Chamber opposes HB2683.

📝HB2421 - Corporate income tax rate; reduction

Sets the percent of taxable net income to 4.9 from January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2025. Sets the percent of taxable net income starting January 1, 2026 at 2%.
