Last year, the Chandler Chamber monitored 1,798 bills during Arizona’s 2024 legislative session, and, acting in the best interest of the East Valley business community, weighed on 64 issues that affect Chandler companies.
During the 2024 election cycle, the Chandler Chamber held a rigorous endorsement process, including a Chandler City Council Candidate Forum, that resulted in an 88% successful endorsement rate.
This emphasis on advocacy informed Meet The Elected Officials on Friday, January 10, where over 50 seasoned and incoming office holders shared their plans for the upcoming 2025 Arizona legislative session on Monday, January 13.

At this event, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce provided insights on key federal policy issues, including economic trends, regulatory updates, and legislative priorities. This is the largest business organization in the world, so it was a privilege to receive an in-person update from their Vice President of Congressional and Public Affairs.
How We Stand is broken into 8 key categories: (1) Economic Vitality & Expansion, (2) Education & Workforce, (3) Efficient & Effective Government, (4) Energy, Water, Utilities, & Environment, (5) Healthcare & Affordable Insurance, (6) Immigration, (7) Infrastructure, and (8) Legal & Tax Policy. These categories are broken down further into position statements.
“Each section of How We Stand is meticulously researched and deliberated by Chandler business leaders to enhance policy development, impact, and implementation,” said Hilen Cruz, 2025 Chandler Chamber Board Chair. “This document provides strategic guidance on advocating for the business community as it navigates a rapidly evolving business landscape.”
To share your voice in How We Stand 2026, the Chandler Chamber will host free roundtables in June 2025. Each roundtable will focus on a different key category of the Chandler Chamber’s legislative agenda, like Infrastructure or Legal & Tax Policy, so parties are encouraged to attend sessions whose topics impact their business.
